Chukwuka Monye is an innovation strategist, corporate development and consumer intelligence expert. His experience covers various functions in several industries including financial services, telecoms, agriculture, solid minerals, media & entertainment, retail and the public sector. He is adept in formulating corporate and marketing strategies as well as providing solutions using technology and innovation. He started his career in the United States, where he worked as an analyst at Citigroup’s private client business in Florida, before becoming the branch manager of a credit union.
He is passionate about the development of the African continent and this led him to establish Ciuci Consulting with two objectives – to provide advice to businesses in Africa and to develop locally based human capacity amidst a challenging educational and economic environment. Chukwuka has led Ciuci to become one of the leading consulting firms in the African region having executed over 200 projects in less than 10 years.
Chukwuka has led the development of several social impact initiatives aimed at taking the capacity building focus to corporate Nigeria and the society at large in sectors such as agriculture and healthcare on a pro bono basis as a sign of Ciuci’s commitment to its ideals. A key part of the company’s philosophy, social impact, continues to expand rapidly as seen by the scope and volume of the projects it has undertaken since its inception.
He has been involved in the incubation of a number of successful products and companies including the City of Lagos Monopoly game and the Healthcare Leadership Academy (HLA), a leadership institute for the healthcare sector with collaborators such as Cambridge and Duke Universities.
His passion for positive change within the continent, also led him to establish iQube- an organization designed to engage the youth and foster knowledge sharing, collaboration and out of the box thinking. It is founded on 3Is – Innovation, Inspiration and Insight. iQube plans to address specific socioeconomic development needs in Africa through different programs.
He is currently the Director General of Delta Economic Summit Group, a private sector led think tank focused on influencing and delivering positive and strategic change most especially economic development in Delta State. As the inaugural DG, Chukwuka hopes to work with the strong membership to promote socioeconomic development, as he strongly believes that the great future of the state is hinged on successful collaboration between the private and public sectors. He is developing innovative programs to make small businesses bankable.
He is also a motivational speaker and has spoken at various business and youth conferences around the world especially as it concerns the youth, capacity development, education and entrepreneurship. Many of his published materials have been featured in Nigerian newspapers as well as on CBS, NBC and Huffington Post.
Chukwuka has a Masters in Business Administration and a PGD in Strategy and Innovation, both from University of Oxford. He has a BA in Business Administration from Warner University, Florida where he graduated with Honors and was also the university’s first black student union president. He received several awards including “Who’s Who” in American Universities and Colleges’ and the United States Achievement Academy Award given to top students in the country. He has also attended management programmes at Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
Roland has 25 years of experience in software engineering and project management at significant technology and telecommunications companies. He has expertise in large-scale software development (operating systems and programming environments), telecommunications protocols, standards development, and the recruitment and management of engineering teams. His experience includes large technology companies (MAI, Data General, AT&T) and classic Silicon Valley startups (Forethought, Go and Eo). He also spent almost four years as CTO for CLB Associates, a leading Silicon Valley strategic advisory and investment-banking firm.
Roland was the original developer of vCard, the “electronic business card” exchange format. He is the author of several computer textbooks, and was the prime contractor for the development of Internet services on several Pacific Island nations, including Micronesia and Guam. He uses his exceptional technical and strategic skills to advise clients, to assess the technological advantages and competitive landscape of intellectual property, and to review the scope of proposed alliances, partnerships and joint ventures. Beneath the technical brilliance, Roland is an artist at heart, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree with Distinction from the California College of Arts and Crafts.
Ifeoma Monye is a business operations specialist with 14 years experience. Her key knowledge areas include leadership, strategy, stakeholder management, business improvement, turnaround management, operations, wealth, project and programme management.
She is the Associate Partner, Ciuci Consulting, a strategy and consumer intelligence company. She is responsible for the entire business operations and is the lead project manager in the UK and Nigeria offices. As a certified project and programme manager she has successfully planned and managed numerous projects in the UK, US and Nigeria. Her prior engagements include head business strategy at Minaj Group; a senior strategy consultant role at Ashford & McGuire Consulting; a senior management role at Vigeo Capital; and Vice President, Operations MBI Africa, Inc. New York, US.
Ifeoma is on the executive board of International Women’s Society, Nigeria; a member of the American Management Association; Associate Fellow, Nigeria Leadership Initiative; Director of the Ethnic Broadcasters of America; and member, Women in Management and Business (WIMBZ). She has a degree in Economics and Politics (Hons) from the University of Essex, UK and is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s General Management Program and Key Executive program.
She is passionate about leadership development and empowerment, especially among the youth and women in the corporate world.
Chukwurah Ejidoh is an Associate Partner with over 15 years experience in administrative, personnel management and business process improvement roles in the financial services industry. Chukwurah is experienced and trained in business process management, with emphasis on process improvement using Six Sigma Lean (black belt) and BPM methodologies, tools and techniques; as well as ISO 9001 QMS Certified Training for Auditor/Lead Auditor. He is a qualified PRINCE2 project practitioner with experience in large and small sized project management. Some of which include; managing a statewide retail survey to determine key customer banking needs and requirement for a commercial bank in Nigeria. He also led the development of a process optimization plan for Treasury and Operations departments of the same bank.
